作物科学の研究成果は、論文の中に留まりがちです。ドローンやスペクトルセンサを使った圃場モニタリング、機械学習・説明可能AI（XAI）による収量予測モデルの開発に取り組みながら、その知見を農業生産者が実際に使えるかたちに「翻訳」することを目指しています。難解なデータ解析の結果を現場の農家さんへ届けるため、大規模言語モデル（LLM）の活用や無料Webアプリの開発など、研究と現場をつなぐ取り組みを続けています。
